All while meat sizzles on the grill.
This is our favorite barbecued chicken. Foodies be warned, you’ll turn up your nose when you hear how it’s made. My husband did. He scoffed at the idea that hunks of meat that sit in Wishbone Italian dressing all day before touching the grill would be worthy of a carnivore like him. I don’t know what it is that makes this work. I don’t know why it’s the Italian dressing, and not any other, that creates such intense bites. You’ll have to trust that I wouldn’t put a recipe up on this here blog if I didn’t believe it would knock your socks off. Trust that this is, quite simply, the best chicken ever.
To make grilled chicken for 4 you will need:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 large bottle of Wishbone Italian dressing
Toss the chicken and dressing in a large ziploc bag, and marinade several hours before grilling. Heat the grill, and cook chicken 5-7 minutes on each side, depending on thickness. Serve with lots of grilled veggies.
